GHX GridBuilder TM Module
This new module enables designers to easily design complex, real-world layouts from within GLD. A process that used to be difficult and tedious is now accomplished with ease. The GridBuilder is easy to use, intuitive and offers simple, yet powerful controls that can build shapes with ease that is not available in any other geothermal design program. The user has full control of shapes, offsets, spacings and borehole frequency. Multiple groupings within a single project design layout allows for full flexibility in modeling and layout. Screenshots below show the interface and a couple sample layouts that are "non-standard" shapes built with the GridBuilder tool.
This example is a double "L" shape that might be used around an obstacle.
The below example features four groups of boreholes that could surround a building with a circular front and rectangular back border.
